Light Rail and Bus Service Changes

Effective Sunday, April 1, 2012, Sacramento Regional Transit District will implement the following service changes:

Light Rail: Gold Line

(Weekday/Weekend Schedule Changes)

Additional operating time will be added to light rail trips traveling inbound to the Sacramento Valley Station and outbound to Sunrise/Folsom. These changes will improve on-time performance.

Light Rail: Blue Line

(Weekday/Weekend Schedule Changes)

The Blue Line schedule will be adjusted to accommodate schedule changes to the Gold Line and in preparation for the future Green Line light rail extension.

Route 3: Riverside Express

(Weekday Schedule Changes)

The "H" trip symbol will be removed from the timetables. All trips will operate on state holidays.

Route 7: Pocket Express

(Weekday Schedule Changes)

The "H" trip symbol will be removed from the timetables. All trips will operate on state holidays.

Route 29: Arden - California Ave.

(Weekday Schedule Changes)

The "H" trip symbol will be removed from the timetables. All trips will operate on state holidays.

Route 51: Broadway - Stockton

(Weekday Schedule Changes)

The 5:58 p.m. trip departing Florin Towne Centre will be discontinued. This change will improve on-time performance.

Route 56: Pocket - C.R.C.

(Weekday/Weekend Schedule Changes)

All trips on Route 56 will be adjusted to accommodate schedule changes to light rail (Blue Line), and improve bus and light rail connections at the Meadowview light rail station.

Route 67: Franklin

(Weekday/Weekend Schedule Changes)

All trips on Route 67 will be adjusted to accommodate schedule changes to light rail (Gold Line), and improve bus and light rail connections at the 29th Street light rail station.

Route 68: 44th St.

(Weekday/Weekend Schedule Changes)

All trips on Route 68 will be adjusted to accommodate schedule changes to light rail (Gold Line), and improve bus and light rail connections at the 29th Street light rail station.

Route 72: Rosemont - Lincoln Village

(Weekday Route and Schedule Changes)

The trip departing Branch Center Road and Kiefer Boulevard at 2:59 p.m. will be extended to serve the Mather Field/Mills light rail station at 3:20 p.m. Due to low ridership, the 7:13 a.m. trip departing Lincoln Village Drive and Routier Road will be discontinued.

Route 81: Florin - 65th St.

(Weekday/Weekend Schedule Changes)

All trips on Route 81 will be adjusted to accommodate schedule changes to light rail (Blue Line and Gold Line), and improve bus and light rail connections at the Florin and University/65th Street light rail stations.

Route 82: Howe - 65th St.

(Weekday/Weekend Schedule Changes)

All trips on Route 82 will be adjusted to accommodate schedule changes to light rail (Gold Line), and improve bus and light rail connections at the University/65th Street light rail station.

Route 87: Howe

(Weekday Schedule Changes)

Due to low ridership, the 5:20 a.m., 5:50 a.m. and 7 a.m. trips departing Howe Avenue and Arden Way will be discontinued. The 6:15 a.m. trip departing the University/65th Street light rail station will be adjusted to depart 15 minutes earlier at 6 a.m. to provide more consistent service to the Marconi/Arcade light rail station.

The 6:42 a.m. trip departing the Marconi/Arcade light rail station will leave two minutes later to improve bus connections at the station.

Route 103: Auburn Blvd.

(Weekday Schedule Changes)

The "H" trip symbol will be removed from the timetables. All trips will operate on state holidays.

Route 109: Hazel Express

(Weekday Schedule Changes)

The "H" trip symbol will be removed from the timetables. All trips will operate on state holidays.

Route 214: Broadway - Stockton Blvd.

(Weekday Schedule Changes)

Due to low ridership, one of the two 2:23 p.m. trips departing N Street and Rodeo Drive will be discontinued.

Route 247: 21st Street - Florin Rd.

(Discontinued)

Due to low ridership, Route 247 will be discontinued.
