Time for Spring Cleaning!

Although this week's forecast calls for wind & rain,
we know spring is just around the corner (achoo!)

So now is the perfect time to clean out your garage & closets.  Get rid of all those old, broken electronic gizmos and the boxes of receipts that you no longer need for the IRS.  And best of all, your donations will help the Sacramento County Sheriff's Department and the South Sacramento communities they serve.

That's right, their Crime Prevention unit is sponsoring an E-Waste/Paper Shredding Event on Saturday, February 19th from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm.  The location is the Sheriff's Substation located at 7000 65th Street, Sacramento (behind Burlington Coat Factory).

Acceptable e-waste items are:
TVs (all sizes and types)
Computer towers & monitors
Laptops
DVD players & VCRs
Printers
Stereos & Radios
Telephones & Cell phones
Video games
Microwaves

No appliances or batteries, please!

For more details, call On-Site Electronics Recycling at 209-234-7994.  Confidential paper shredding provided by "Shred-It".
