Pacific Gas and Electric Co. will award $1 million in scholarships to area students. The PG&E Bright Minds Scholarship program will offer up to $30,000 per year to each winner. Applicants can be high school, community college or nontraditional students. They must be enrolled in a full-time undergraduate program at an accredited two- or four-year college, university or vocational school in the 2012-2013 academic year.
