You can find amazing deals at the Friends of the Sacramento Public Library’s Book Den!

Members can browse their warehouse sale on Friday, August 8, 2014 from 5 pm-8 pm. Not a member? You can join at the door for only $15! The big sale continues on Saturday, August 9 and Saturday, August 16 from 9 am-4 pm both days.

Books are priced from 50 cents to $2.00 each. Check out the outside sales area where books will be offered at $6 per bag.

The Florin Road Foundation's donation of school supplies for foster kids.

All children should have the school supplies they need to feel confident and prepared in the classroom. Unfortunately, for over 60,000 California foster kids, a sudden change of homes can mean starting over at a new school without the tools they need to succeed.

You can help local foster children get a positive start to the school year — bring your gift of new backpacks, paper, pens, art supplies, binders and more to a Sleep Train store, or donate online today at http://www.sleeptrainfosterkids.org/index.cfm?fuseaction=cms.page&id=1010.
